3. General English
4. Socio-economic general awareness

For example clerical aptitude and computer awareness type questions are asked in bank clerical exams. Some banks take descriptive type test of English and socio-economic general awareness.
These exams are based on negative marking and generally one fourth marks are reduced as punishment. Qualify marks are decided by banks itself. Generally 40% marks are considered as qualify marks. Three to five candidates on one post are called for interview. Final selection is based on marks obtained in both written exam and interview.
