When you are going to fight your first bank exam (either clerical or PO) then you have to make a disciplined plan for it. In both type of bank exams a general pattern of question paper is followed. Following type of questions are asked in these exams:-

2. Verbal and non verbal reasoning
3. General English
4. Socio-economic general awareness
These are general types of questions which are asked in all type of bank recruitment exams. Some other types of questions are also asked depending on post. For example clerical aptitude and computer awareness type questions are asked in bank clerical exams. Some banks take descriptive type test of English and socio-economic general awareness.
These exams are based on negative marking and generally one fourth marks are reduced as punishment. Qualify marks are decided by banks itself. Generally 40% marks are considered as qualify marks. Three to five candidates on one post are called for interview. Final selection is based on marks obtained in both written exam and interview.
